Shalkith Online: Pricing Plan WarSpider Entertainment, LLC has instituted a new and affordable payment plan for Shalkith.com customers. All new players begin the game in a free demo period, with full access to the basic game service for 50 matches.   A player may purchase Style Points from our store at any time. In addition to receiving those Points, Game Days are added to the player's Shalkith account.   Style Points and Game Days are offered in the following increments: $5.00 - 500 Style Points, 180 Game Days $10.00 - 1000 Style Points, 360 Game Days $20.00 - 2000 Style Points, 720 Game Days That's less than 3 cents a day!   Any time additional Style Points are purchased, more Game Days are credited to the Shalkith account. A player is free to spend their Style Points on any features, options, or game types offered in the Shalkith store. Spending Style Points does not reduce the amount of Game Days credited to your account.   The Shalkith store may also offer merchandise items such as t-shirts, game guides, and art prints in the future. These items are purchased separately from Style Points and will offer varying amounts of Game Days. Please view the item description in our store for more details.   Only purchased Style Points or merchandise result in the credit of Game Days to a Shalkith account. Style Points gained from Trinkets do not generate Game Days.   Shalkith.com offers unlimited play for all accounts with Game Days remaining. Players are not restricted in the number of hours they can play Shalkith Online each day.   Game Days are deducted each day from all Shalkith accounts, whether an account was active that day or not.   If the demo period or Game Days for a player's account expires, that account will be closed until additional Style Points or merchandise are purchased. Closed accounts retain all of the player's dragons and stats.   In the future, Shalkith Online may offer limited access for accounts without Game Days. However, only accounts with Game Days will be able to create and train their own dragons, have unlimited access to the base game, and participate in community features.   Accounts that are closed for more than 60 days will be deleted at our discretion. Deleted accounts lose all dragons and stats. There are no refunds for deleted accounts. All sales are final.   If you wish to delete your Shalkith account, you don't need to do anything. Your account will be deleted in 60 days. However, if you wish to delete your account immediately, send an email to support@shalkith.com with your request. The email must be sent from the address you used to sign-up with Shalkith. Do not use the Contact page. Account deletion requests must be emailed. This is for account security. Frequently Asked Questions: Why are you charging to play? Although offering unlimited free play was our goal, the financial realities of hosting an online game service, while looking to future growth and development of new game features and dragon breeds, means that we were forced to begin charging a small fee to play. Well, that's dumb. You're going to lose a bajillion players! At less than 3 cents a day, we believe Shalkith remains extremely affordable. However, anytime a pay-to-play model is introduced, there will be an inevitable drop-off in active players. This is unfortunate, but expected. Ok, give it to me simple. How much is it going to cost me to play now? Shalkith costs less than 3 cents a day to play. For $5.00 your account will be credited with 180 Game Days and 500 Style Points to use on any of our features and game options. Five dollars!? Why so much? $5.00 is an extremely reasonable and affordable rate for 180 Game Gays of unlimited game time. Plus that $5.00 also gets you 500 Style Points to spend on new Gifts, Styles, Reshape tokens, etc. I have to spend money to play and spend more to get Style Points? No. When you purchase Style Points, your account automatically gets credited more Game days. I don't have a credit card! What can I do? If you have a bank account, you can sign up with PayPal.com and use their alternate payment options (like eCheck) to purchase Style Points. If you are too young, ask a parent for help with your purchase. Are Game Days only deducted if I login that day? No. Your account is open for an amount of days equal to your Game Days. Game Days are deducted whether you login that day or not. For accounts created prior to the implementation of our pricing plan, your Game Days did not start being deducted until March 22, 2006. Does this mean I unlock everything in the Store for only $5.00? No. While your account is open you simply have access to the game and any optional features you’ve unlocked with the Style Points you’ve purchased. What happens if I run out of Game Days? Your account will be closed. This means you will no longer be able to access the game until you purchase more Style Points. Your account and dragons will be unaffected. However, if your account is closed for more than 60 days, your account and dragons may be deleted at our discretion. There are no refunds for deleted accounts. All sales are final. Can you guarantee that the prices will never go up? We can never guarantee that prices won’t go up in the future, but we will always strive to make Shalkith affordable for our players. However, your account will never lose game days that you’ve already been credited, due to a price increase. How does this affect the Shalkith forum?
